Breakups can be tough on anyone involved. That is why it is good to have a breaking up survival kit in store for if you have to go through this. First of all, let’s get something straight. Everyone has gone through a break up before. So you’re not the only one. Everyone has been hurt at one point or another, and so there are ways you can survive the break-up and keep moving forward as a completely new person. There are people to talk to, things to do and places to go to help cope with the break-up.

One of the first things you should do to help you survive the break up is to talk to someone you know and trust. Chances are you have a lot of built up anger, worry, and sadness inside of you. If you keep all that bottled up inside you, then it will fester like a rotting corpse and eat you alive. You will soon worry yourself sick and then take it out on your closest friends. Then your friends will become upset with you for getting upset at them, and things will just get worse and worse. Instead, talk to someone immediately and get whatever thoughts you have off your chest and out into the open. Remember, everyone has been through a break up before, and so there is nothing new under the sun. Getting your feelings out in the open will be one of the best things you can do for yourself.

There are a few things you can do to take your mind off of the break-up. One is to spend time with your family and friends. Being with people is one of the most fundamentally healing things you can do for yourself, not only because it is comforting, but also because it is in our human nature to do so. Another thing you can do is to take a class or get a certification in something that you have been interested in for a long time. Taking up a new hobby, especially if it is something you are interested in can be a great healing tool for you to survive your break up.

Also, try going to some fun places with friends, like the Zoo, or the park, or even bowling and the beach. There are lots of really cool places to go with other people which will help you get into a positive frame of mind. Other fun places to go are some city events like festivals. You might also decide to take up a new hobby just to see if it is something you are interested in. This will get you used to open your mind up to new possibilities, and that is a great trait to have in life. When you begin to use these tips as a few more tools in your breaking up survival kit, and you will definitely be better armed to go forward in your future endeavors.
